Something's left

Though my work has been primarily figurative, in 2003 I began a series which adresses the connections I have made with places I have been and the objects connected with them.
Normally one thinks of deep personal connections formed between individuals as being the most emotional and deeply felt connections we have.in these drawings, I use the objects of my everydays surroundings.
First in my native France and then here on my visits to san francisco-to evoke the deep sense at connection I’ve established with these private, domestic spaces.
